MESA Software Release

IHE-Cardiology, IHE IT Infrastructure, IHE-Radiology Test Software

Version 9.10.5: 7-April-2006

Welcome to the MESA software distribution page.  The tools are roughly divided into three categories: In general, the tools are organized for a particular actor as defined in the IHE Technical Framework.  Most users of the tools have one or more actors in mind.  You should read the tests procedures and installation notes and then grab the tools that you need.  The OFFIS and MIR tools are independent, so you may need only one set of tools depending on your application.

Note to IHE Participants

The MESA distribution found through this page is the public domain distribution released after the last annual cycle was completed. If you are participating an IHE Connectathon, consult with the appropriate manager to find the current MESA release.

The test tools for softcopy/hardcopy consistency were developed under contract with O-Tech, Kuratorium OFFIS e. V., and the Institute for Microtherapy.  The test tools and test plans are found on the Software Consistency Page.

OFFIS may have newer versions of the DICOMScope tool. The OFFIS DICOM URL is http://dicom.offis.de

MIR Tools for IHE Actors

Installation instructions are available on the MESA Documentation page.

The MESA software relies on data files which are stored in a separate directory.  This is described in the Installation Guide.  The MESA_STORAGE files are a collection of images (CR, CT, MR, ...) used as the inputs for various tests of integrated workflow. These are different from the images and presentation states used to test display consistency. You should obtain the MESA_STORAGE file from one of the links below.
